The Battle Arrakeen is a climactic fictional battle in Frank Herbert's science fiction novel Dune.

The battle is fought between Paul Atreides/Muad'Dib's Fremen and the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV's Imperial Sardaukar. Muad'Dib's forces rout the Saudakar and the Emperor negotiates with Muad'Dib. During the negotiations, Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, at this time Baron Harkonnen, challenges Muad'Dib to a duel. Muad'Dib kills him and after his death seals an agreement that gives him control of the human empire.
