Battisford

Battisford is a village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 482. The village is about four miles south of Stowmarket.

The village contains a Free Church, a Community Center and a Play area. The main road which runs through Battisford is Straight Road, being very straight and over a mile long. There are no pubs in the village, the Punchbowl and the Gardener's Arms, are both in the next villlage of Combs. Alas, the only problem with the village is, there aren't any shops, whatsoever.

However, Battisford does have a bus shelter, but no bus service, fruit farm, garage, not to mention two working phone boxes!
