Bateia

In Greek mythology, Bateia can refer to several characters:

• The daughter of King Teucer and ancesstress of the Trojans. (See Batea.)
• A naiad. Either she or Gorgophone was the mother of Hippocoon, Icarius and Tyndareus with the Spartan King Oebalus.
