Batard-Montrachet Ramonet-Prudhon

Batard-Montrachet Romonet-Prudhon is a French Wine produced on the Montrachet knoll. It's been observed that Montrachet "has been the reigning sovereign of white Burgundies for Centuries." As in all great Burgundy vineyards, ownership is divided among many wineries, of which Romonet-Prudhon is one.

Steven Spurrier selected the Batard-Montrachet Romonet-Prudhon 1973 for competition in the Paris Wine Tasting of 1976 where it competed against nine other wines and was ranked seventh. The top four ranking of the blind tasting conducted by leading French wine experts were:
