[edit] Regarding the pictures of him having sex
Is it something to be mentioned in the article? I think so, after all the pictures were mentioned in the swedish media and has been widely discussed on various discussion forums and websites.
If possible someone should gather some quotes from him on the matter in question. And also explain in _short_ what the pictures are depicting.

[edit] "Vogue claim"
I removed a text from this wiki which claimed to be using "Swedish edition of Vogue-magazine as source." There is no "Swedish edition" of Vogue (see Vogue (magazine)). Other information also supported removal.

Edited the false claim away from this rationale to comply with policy - can be seen in history if disputed. 62.78.150.147 18:19, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Remix
I am wondering if the remix by mmradio actually exists. I couldn't find it anywhere. Could this be a trick to generate extra traffic for mmradio's website? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.167.240.159 (talk • contribs).
The mmradio mix exists --SiemsC 21:30, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Its called Rundfarten (CFFS Matros Mix). You can find it at megamixers.com [1] PoiZaN 08:55, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article Neutrality?
This wiki is a commercial. I hereby dispute its neutrality. : / —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.80.158.148 (talk • contribs) 02:22, 1 June 2006.
It is a cultural phenomenon. Right after the Pirate Bay is attacked by the media mafia some guy makes his own music at home and spread it by sharing. When his song become the summer hit and he cashes in all the money, does the music industry listen? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.227.24.61 (talk • contribs) 00:30, 23 June 2006.

[edit] Removed note of other songs
I removed:
As many more parodies and remixes were made. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vincentt (talk • contribs).
- Btw. the statement "The producers who made it never told what they would like to call it and thus received a name identifying Anna as a boat by a listener upon its first airing." is wrong. At megamixers.com (MMradio is MegaMixers radio...) it is listed as " Rundfarten (CFFS Matros Mix)" PoiZaN 10:42, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] How is the table supposed to be read?
- "Boten Anna" [Radiomix] 3:29
- "Boten Anna" [Clubmix] 5:26
Chart (2006) | Peak |
---|---|
Dutch Top 40 | 1 (1*) |
Finland Top 20 | 9 (1) |
Norwegian Top 20 | 3 (2) |
Swedish Top 60 | 1 (1) |
A few unclear things about the table:
- What's the number in parenthesis?
- Why is there an asterisk in the Dutch value? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.112.176.223 (talk • contribs).
- I clarified the table. The * probably means that it currently is at the peak position, i.e. subject to change. Han-Kwang 10:12, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] True or not?
Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA
This song is about BassHunter and his friends, using the voice communication application Ventrilo while they are playing DotA, a custom map for Warcraft 3. It's a eurodance song, very similar to Daddy DJ's song Daddy DJ or Scatman.
This was added at the bottom of the article.. Considering there is really no mention to DotA in the song, does this have any basis in fact? If somone else agrees, please delete it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.196.176.249 (talk • contribs).
Ehh, the song has DotA in the name. Doesn't really get more obvious than that. Also, the extended version has sounds from the game. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.231.243.116 (talk • contribs).
Yeah its true, watch the video clip. The lyric is 'Vi sitter har i venten och spelar lite dota' which translated means something like 'we play dota and talk/sit on vent'. The videoclip features a few pieces of warcraft iii gameplay which appears to be dota. - 134.7.77.147 08:20, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
According to this subtitled video < http://basshunter.m0o.eu/dota/index_en.php > "Vi sitter har i venten och spelar lite dota" translates to "We're sitting here in Ventrilo playing some DotA." Xchbla423 17:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] IKEA
The IKEA website features a bot called Anna. Is this a coincidence? ABoerma 03:09, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
- I doubt it. Anna is an extremely common girl's name in Sweden, good for about 8% of the Swedish women. Han-Kwang 22:02, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
- Anna is the second most common first name among women in Sweden. But I must say it's a funny coincidence! Does other countries IKEA pages also have the Anna bot? abelson 11:54, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Cool, they do! Check out the American IKEA bot Anna abelson 11:57, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it's a coincidence. As Abelson already mentioned, it's a very common Swedish name and it makes sense naming a bot Anna if you're after the image of being a Swedish company like IKEA is. The bot itself is also not famous by any means, as far as I can tell. -Obli (Talk)? 13:37, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The title is wrong
The name of this article should be BassHunter and not Basshunter, however it can't be moved to BassHunter since that page contains a redirect. PoiZaN 10:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Nope, it's Basshunter. Check out his web site www.basshunter.se and see for yourself. abelson 13:17, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
But the name of his channel is #BassHunter.se. Well i guess it can be written both way... 83.95.193.50 16:36, 7 September 2006 (UTC) (previous comment was by me - forgot to log in PoiZaN 16:38, 7 September 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Basshunter is a plagiarist!
DotA song it's an exact copy of Daddy DJ's song ! Listen here ! http://www.radioblogclub.com/open/115404/daddy_dj/02%20-%20Daddy%20DJ It's exactly the same melody, and daddy DJ's song is older than DotA!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.56.247.196 (talk • contribs).
No it's not! abelson 17:50, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
The chorus line melody is similar, but the rest of the song is pretty different.--Tossrock 02:39, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
