Bassick High School is a public High School located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is a member of the FCIAC conference. Bassick hasn't won a football game in five years and the Lions are approaching the modern record of 53 games without a win, set by Bullard-Havens in 2001. Officially, Bassick has lost 47 straight and has gone 48 games without a victory. They've made global headlines in newspapers published as far away as Germany and New Zealand for being the first Connecticut team to get beaten by 50 points under the CIAC's score management policy.
