Basislico

The Basislico is a creature from Chilota mythology pertaining to southern Chile, which has the crest of a rooster and a serpent's body, born from the egg of an old hen and lives in unseen burrows which it digs under houses. It feeds on the phlegm of the people who live in the house causing the inhabitants to begin to dehydrate and eventually die.
