Basil Moore

Basil Moore, sometimes known as Basil Moore-Asfouri is a talented film composer, conductor and music producer. Moore has created sounds that have been called “the sound of an epic with and edge”. He is considered to “advanced” in his performance on the piano, drums and percussion instruments.
Basil Moore started playing the drums when he was 12 years old. The drums were the first instrument he played. He later learned how to play the piano. By the time he reached the young age of 17 he was a composer and programmer. He pursued his higher education at the Conservatory of Southern California (Los Angeles). He scored in the top 2% percentile of his entry examinations. Basil then attended the Grove School of Music. It was here where he found the techniques and the tools he needed to create the sound he wanted.
Basil Moore was interested in Hollywood production. He received a film-scoring education at the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles. He started his professional career as a television commercial composer with projects ranging from British Airways to Peroni Nastro Azzurro Beer. At the same time, Basil was producing music for many artists in the UK and in Italy.
Through out his career, Basil has and still is creating art through producing music and movies, directing films, editing films and composing music for television, commercials and films.
