BaseN is a Finnish company which is providing large-scale infrastructure measurement and management services. Founded in 2001 by its current CEO Pasi Hurri and other leading Finnish internet pioneers, it grew rapidly both in the domestic and international market. Among the board members is the well known internet pioneer Johan Helsingius. Presently BaseN has its headquarters in Espoo, Finland, and offices in Atlanta, GA, and Amsterdam.

BaseN provides linearly scalable measurement solutions based on grid computing. The BaseN Platform is deployed mainly for network measurement and management but has also been used for monitoring other devices, such as vehicles, drink vending machines and weather stations.
