Talk:Barrave, Wyoming

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a real place. there are plenty of small towns with articles on wikipedia. though this may just be a unicorparated buch of buildings in the middle of nowhere, it's got a soup restaurant. Zazaban 20:54, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Can you provide evidence that such a town exists? I can't find evidence anywhere. --210physicq (c) 20:56, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, It has no website or anything. it was disbanded last week apparently. Zazaban 20:57, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

I need not a website of the town. I was asking for Google search results. Sorry it I wasn't clear. And a town cannot "disband," by the way. --210physicq (c) 21:01, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

This one was. read the article. It was as much an organization as a town. Zazaban 21:01, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, this "town" doesn't exist. If you can prove me wrong, then I will back down. But I will stand by my {{db}} tag otherwise. --210physicq (c) 21:04, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Part of philosiphy was that they put nothing on the internet. the news of the town would spread itself untill it was kbnown by the world. it didn't spread so they gave up. Zazaban 21:07, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

The absence of proof is not evidence of proof. Verifiability, not truth. I'm sorry, that's how Wikipedia works. --210physicq (c) 21:10, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Theb why does the deletion tag say "no such town exists"? Zazaban 21:14, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

It's a prod now, and I've moderated the language. --210physicq (c) 21:16, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

"Hoax" is not a criterion for speedy deletion anyway, so I removed the tag. Physicq, if you still want to delete it, try PROD. --Mr. Lefty (talk) 21:09, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't know that. Thanks. --210physicq (c) 21:10, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

I've been doing a lot of work on this article, i'd hate to see it go.... Zazaban 21:25, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry if I sounded too harsh at first. How about this: I put an {{unref}} tag, and you can just add sources as you find them. But really, an article without sources is subject to an AfD at anytime. Hey, it's better than slapping {{hoax}} on it. --210physicq (c) 21:27, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
