I don't see how this "baroque metal" which supposedly began in 1986 is different from the myriad of bands/guitarists playing baroque-influenced metal.

First they allude to the first "baroque metal" song being written in 1986, then they say "baroque metal" was developed in the mid 1990's. Then they reference power metal, and it's being different from music from the 1970's. This so-called baroque metal is nothing new, people have been playing classically-influenced rock/metal forever. This article needs to be deleted as it serves no purpose.
