Talk:Barnegat Lighthouse

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I do not know enough about the technical aspects to confidentally edit the article, but the following should be noted: while the high-intensity lighthouse lamp is inoperative (largely because it is obsolete), there is a lantern that is lit from dusk to dawn. This lantern is still visible out to the horizon during clear nights, but is not intended to be visible during inclement weather (although an active foghorn is still present at the opposite end of the inlet). --Thisisbossi 22:47, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
