[edit] Summary

Barkla crater on the Moon, as seen from Apollo 15. Note the nicely-formed cup-shaped crater near the left edge to the WNW of Barkla.

This image was taken during the Apollo 15 mapping metric sequence, revolution 70. The picture was produced by rotating the image 90° counter-clockwise so that north is toward the top edge, reduced it in size 50% then cropping to just show Barkla and surroundings.
