Barumini is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Medio Campidano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 50 km north of Cagliari and about 15 km northeast of Sanluri. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,395 and an area of 26.6 km².[1]
It's famous for a very important archeological site: Su Nuraxi di Barumini.
Barumini borders the following municipalities: Gergei, Gesturi, Las Plassas, Tuili, Villanovafranca.
