Bart Scott

Bart Edward Scott (born August 18, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American football linebacker who attended Southern Illinois University and is currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. Scott saw significant playing time during the 2005 season Ray Lewis injured his hamstring. He played extremely well in Lewis' absence at the middle linebacker position. Scott signed a three year contract extension with the Ravens even though the Cleveland Browns offered him more money. He is now starting ROLB for the Ravens after they released Peter Boulware due to injuries. He has shown his ability this year by leading the Ravens in tackles, he has also recorded 5 sacks and one interception.

Scott played his college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis. While at SIU, he played Saftey and linebacker.
