Bart Kosko

Bart Kosko (b. February 7, 1960) is professor of electrical engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). He is a leading proponent and popularizer of fuzzy logic, and is author of several books. He is an expert on mind and machine intelligence including military applications and smart weapons.
Bart Kosko received bachelor's degrees in economics and philosophy from the University of Southern California, the master's degree in applied mathematics from the University of California, San Diego, and the doctorate degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He recently received his JD from the Concord Law School and is a licensed California attorney.
He currently teaches probability and statistics (among other things) at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering
