Air Marshal Barry M Thornton CB MSc BSc CEng FIMechE FCMI FRAeS RAF is the Royal Air Force's Air Member for Personnel and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Personnel and Training Command.

Thornton assumed his current appointment at Commander in Chief Personnel and Training Command and Air Member for Personnel 6 January 2006.
