Barry Molloy (born November 28, 1983 in Derry, Northern Ireland) is an Irish footballer who plays in midfield for Derry City F.C. in the Football League of Ireland.
Molloy spent time with Derby County F.C., where he won the 2002 Young Player of the Year award, and Drogheda United before Stephen Kenny signed him for his home town club during the close season of 2004 for a fee of £14,000.
A dangerous box to box player, Molloy impressed in midfield for Drogheda before repeating this form with the Candystripes.
His first season was badly disrupted through injury, however, due to his outrageously spectacular performances in the 2006 season, Molloy received the unofficial Player of the Season Award, from the supporters' club, Pride of Northside.
