Barry Horne (footballer)

Barry Horne (born April 18, 1963, St Asaph, UK) is a Welsh former professional footballer and former chairman of the Professional Footballers Association.
In his career Horne played for Wrexham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Everton, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Kidderminster, Walsall and Belper Town.
He represented the Welsh national team and won the FA Cup in 1995 whilst playing for Everton. His most successful period was at Everton between 1992 and 1996. As a player, Horne was known as a "midfield-ballwinner" with a ferocious tackle, rather than his skills or ability.
