Barry F. Cooper

Fraser Barry Cooper is a professor in the Political Science Department at the University of Calgary who specializes in political theory and Canadian politics, political thought and public policy.
Cooper is active in Canadian federal politics as a supporter of the Conservative Party of Canada and of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. As a member of the Calgary School and a weekly columnist for the Calgary Herald, Cooper is a frequent guest commentator on Canadian political issues. Cooper is also a Senior Fellow at the Fraser Institute and a member of the Royal Society of Canada.
