baroque (バロック), or brq, was a Japanese rock band, that formed in 2001 and was signed to S'CUBE, a division of Free-Will, and distributed by Sony Music. Originally a Visual Kei band, Baroque quickly dropped their visuals for more casual clothing such as jeans and t-shirts.

Baroque played in Singapore's Asian Youth Music Festival in 2002.
Their first full album was released September 9, 2004, and on September 11th the band announced it was breaking up after finishing contractual obligations. The last concert was a sold out performance at Zepp Tokyo on December 25, 2004 (which holds about 4,000 people [1]).
Ryo and Kei have re-formed Kannivalism and are currently signed to Free-Will.
