Baroniinae is monotypic subfamily of butterflies within the Papilionidae and is represented by the species Baronia brevicornis Salvin, 1893. The species is found in a very small area of Mexico and is of particular importance due to its relict nature and uncertain relationship to other subfamilies such as the Parnassiinae.
