Baron of Bauvso

The Baron of Bauvso is a title of Maltese nobility. The title of Barone di Bauvso was created in 1296 and first bestowed upon Nobile Vassallo di Vassallo by King Frederick II of Sicily. The title is hereditary, passing to the eldest male descendants of Vassallo, born within wedlock by primogeniture. The present holder of the title is Robert (XII) Vassallo, the 29th Barone di Bauvso. His heir is his eldest son, Peter Vassallo, styled the Baroncino di Bauvso.
