Baron Somerleyton

Baron Somerleyton, of Somerleyton in the County of Suffolk, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1916 for the Liberal Unionist politician Sir Savile Crossley, 2nd Baronet, of Halifax. The Baronetcy, of Halifax in the County of York, had been created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1863 for his father Francis Crossley. As of 2006 the titles are held by the first Baron's grandson, the third Baron. He notably served as Master of the Horse from 1991 to 1998.
The family seat is Somerleyton Hall.
