Baron Seaford

Baron Seaford is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It dates to 1826. In 1803, the barony devolved upon Charles Ellis, who had previously succeeded to the barony of Howard de Walden (created by writ in 1597). In 1999, the titles separated, with the Barony of Seaford going to the nearest heir male and the barony of Howard de Walden falling first into abeyance then in 2004 being terminated in favour of the eldest daughter of the 5th Baron Seaford.
