Baron Howden

Baron Howden was a title in the Peerage of Ireland and in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. John Caradoc, the former Governor of the Cape of Good Hope, was created Baron Howden in the Peerage of Ireland on 19 October 1819. On 10 September 1831 he was given the same title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. On the death of the 2nd Baron on 9 October 1873, both baronies became extinct.
