Baron Dorchester

Baron Dorchester was a title created in the Peerage of Great Britain on 21 August 1786 for Guy Carleton. The title became extinct on the death of the 4th Baron on 13 November 1897.
The title was again created on 2 August 1899 for Henrietta Carleton, Baroness Dorchester. The title became extinct on the death of the 2nd Baron on 20 January 1963.
Separate titles of Marquess of Dorchester have also been held by the Earls of Kingston, Catherine Sedley held the title Countess of Dorchester, and Joseph Damer and his son the title Earl of Dorchester.
