Baron Arnold

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Baron Arnold, of Hale in the County of Chester, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 12 February 1924 for Sydney Arnold, who became one of the first Labour peers.

He had previously represented Holmfirth and Penistone in the House of Commons as a Liberal, but had joined the Labour Party in 1922. The title became extinct upon his death in 1945.
