From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barnoldswick Town F.C. is a football club based at Barnoldswick in Lancashire.

The club was formed in 2003, being an amalgamation of Barnoldswick United and Barnoldswick Park Rovers. By taking the name Barnoldswick Town, they were re-adopting a name previously used by an earlier club which played in the Lancashire Combination in the 1920's and 1930's.

Barnoldswick Town are members of the West Riding County Football Association, and have teams playing in the West Lancashire League, and the East Lancashire League. They also have a Women's team playing in the Lancashire FA Women's County League Division 1. In 2006-07 the club's senior team plays in the West Lancashire League Premier Division, which is at the 11th level of the English football league system. They took over the place in this league previously held by Barnoldswick United.

Barnoldswick play their home games at the Silentnight Beds Stadium, which was previously known as Victory Park, and is on Westclose Road. They produce a programme for their home games. The club's colours are yellow and blue shirts, and blue shorts.
