Barley, Hertfordshire

Barley is a village and civil parish in the district of North Hertfordshire, England. According to the 2001 census it has a population of 659.

Located on the Royston to Saffron Walden road, Barley boasts a church with a 12th century Norman tower. The church was rebuilt in 1871 using designs by William Butterfield.

The village also includes a 17th century lock-up and an early Tudor town house with a large timbered upper room.
