Barkingside is a place in the London Borough of Redbridge. It is a suburban development.
It is home to schools including Ilford County High School and King Solomon High School. Barkingside is chiefly known for the children's charity Barnardo's, the charity that was founded here 1866; it is in Barkingside where the charity's national headquarters are based.
