Bark in the Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bark in the Park is an annual festival for dogs and their owners in the San Jose, California, Naglee Park neighborhood, held on the third Saturday in September.

It is a fundraising event hosted by the Naglee Park neighborhood's Campus Community Association (CCA). All proceeds benefit the CCA and Humane Society Silicon Valley. Both are non-profit organizations serving local communities.

Six "Bark in the Park" events have been organised for guide dogs and their owners on the weekend of 27th-28th May 2006 in the United Kingdom. The children's TV programme, Blue Peter, has helped organise the event, as they have a history in supporting guide dog charities.
