Bardi people
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Bardi people are the Indigenous Australians from the area around Broome and parts of the Dampier Archipelago in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Djarindjin and Lombadina are two small Bardi communities in the area.
Playwright and musician Jimmy Chi has Bardi ancestry, as do many Aboriginal people who live in and around Broome today.
