Barbarano Romano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 50 km northwest of Rome and about 20 km south of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 999 and an area of 37.4 km².[1]

Barbarano Romano borders the following municipalities: Blera, Capranica, Vejano, Vetralla, Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia.
