Barbara Jordan (tennis player)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barbara Jordan (born April 2, 1957, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA) was a professional female tennis player from the United States. She is best remembered for her victory at the 1979 Australian Open, which is, in fact, the only title she ever won in her entire time on tour (except Detroit in 1978) - she never progressed beyond the third round at any of the other Grand Slam events that she entered, and she had a sub-.500 winning percentage for her career.
