Barbara Blomberg

Barbara Blomberg (* 1527 in Regensburg, Germany; † 18 December 1597 in Ambrosero, Spain) was born the eldest daughter of burgher Wolfgang Plumberger and his wife Sibilla. She was the mother of Don Juan de Austria, illegitimate son of Charles V, who in 1571 defeated the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto.
