Barani

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Barani is a gymnastic motion which consists of a front Somersault with an added 180-degree twist, leaving the person facing the other way they took off from. The flip must consist of a tucked front with a kick out to make the spin easier; otherwise, it may be considered another type of motion. When the person performing the move fails to start with a front tuck and moves to the side, the flip can be mistaken for a front 90-degree.
