Baqa al-Gharbiyye (Arabic: باقة الغربية‎, Hebrew: באקה אלע'רביה, sometimes also: באקה אל-גרביה; unofficially also spelled Baqa al-Gharbiya) is a city in the Haifa District in Israel. It is located near the Green Line. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), at the end of 2001 the city had a total population of 19,200. In 2003, Baka al-Gharbiyye united with the local council Jat to form Baqa-Jat.

According to CBS, in 2001 the ethnic makeup of the city was entirely Arab Muslim, with no Jewish population at all. See Population groups in Israel.

According to CBS, in 2001 there were 9,900 males and 9,300 females. The population of the city was spread out with 48.6% 19 years of age or younger, 18.4% between 20 and 29, 18.9% between 30 and 44, 9.5% from 45 to 59, 1.8% from 60 to 64, and 2.8% 65 years of age or older. The population growth rate in 2001 was 3.1%.

According to CBS, as of 2000, in the city there were 3,735 salaried workers and 501 are self-employed. The mean monthly wage in 2000 for a salaried worker in the city is ILS 3,415, a real change of -2.3% over the course of 2000. Salaried males have a mean monthly wage of ILS 4,110 (a real change of 0.2%) versus ILS 1,660 for females (a real change of -20.5%). The mean income for the self-employed is 4,993. There are 338 people who receive unemployment benefits and 1,520 people who receive an income guarantee.

According to CBS, there are 9 schools and 4,540 students in the city. They are spread out as 6 elementary schools and 2,639 elementary school students, and other 1,901 students in two junior high schools and two high schools. 47.8% of 12th grade students were entitled to a matriculation certificate in 2001.
