User was born in Australia, raised in Australia and now lives in Toronto, Canada. He plays the bandura.
He completed his education at the University of Sydney and the Caollege of Advanced Education in Sydney Australia. The User also studied at the Kyiv State Conservatory and Kyiv University. He is currently a PhD student at the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture.
User is a Merited Artist of Ukraine and has recorded a number of CD's.
My area of expertise is Ukrainian folk music and in particular the bandura and related materials.
Currently I am porting over all the articles in my encyclopedia of Kobzarstvo into the Ukrainian and English Wikipedias.
