Etymology is not that easy, very often there is more behind a word than meets the eye. However, in Banyalbufar, coming from banya and bahar, or I would rather say, from banya, al and bahar the second part, al bahar, could come from arabic "al bahar" (al bhar, transliteration from arabic is another topic), English "the sea".
