[edit] Cleanup?

Hi, I put the cleanup message up because I thought that the content was a little misorganised, with repeated references to mismanagement alternating with normal "so many species and so many animals" information. I was hoping for someone to come up, put more information, as well as organise it out with sections on the zoo, controversy, etc. nicely separated out. Of course, if you think the article looks better like this, feel free to take out 'cleanup', or replace it with 'stub'. Gaurav 13:42, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)

removed the clean-up tag and put stub in its place. Please replace it with topic specific stub template if you can. I searched around and couldn't get to one. --H P Nadig 16:50, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)
btw, If you've been to bangalore or visited this national park, you would know that there's nothing else very significant to be mentioned about this zoo cum mini reserve dubbed National park other than the state of dismay it is in as of now. Most state papers here carried out stories on how animals (even the aquatic habitat ones) have had no water in their exhibits. This should tell the terrible state of maintenance its in. --H P Nadig 08:24, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I'd just like to add to that. I recently visited Bannerghatta zoo as part of my school trip and was horrified by some of the conditions there, I wish I had never been. I saw elephant "keepers" prodding the elephants around with sticks with sharp points, ducks and geese in a concrete enclosure with filthy water around the edge and much more. I got photo evidence of this which I intend to send to the relevant authorities (WWF, as there name seems to be on the signs, Karnataka state tourism dept, and the zoo itself.

Were there not any dead fish?? i sawe lots of them when i went in late 96 /early 97
