hello can you please tell me where I would go to find out the name and address of a bank when all I have is the rounting number and account number. pam ____________________________________________________
This article contained inaccurate information:

The first numeral of a BIN is not sufficient to determine the issuing bank. While the article attempted to do a good job explaining the differences, it is not complete. The 13 digit exception does not apply to MC and Visa. Not all account numbers beginning with 3 are AMEX. The BIN ranges described for AMEX are inaccurate. Diners' Club International uses multiple BIN ranges that begin with 3, and were ignored from this article completely. Combine that with the many non MC/Visa/Disc/Amex/DCI BINs available, inspection of the the full BIN should be described and required. Please research and correct this information before re-adding it.

[edit] Downloadable database link

Is there a link for a downloadable BIN database ? Something like in a spreadsheet format or pure text ?
