Description Youth using an oinochoe (wine jug, in his right hand) to draw wine from a crater, in order to fill a kylix (shallow cup, in his left hand). His nudity show that he is serving as cup-bearer in a symposium, or banquet. Kalos inscription. Tondo of an Attic red-figure cup, ca. 490-480 BC.

Français : Jeune homme utilisant une œnochoé (cruche à vin, main droite) pour puiser le vin d'un cratère et remplir son kylix (coupe, main gauche). Sa nudité montre qu'il sert d'échanson dans un symposium (banquet). Inscription kalos. Intérieur d'une coupe attique à figures rouges du Peintre de la Cage, v. 490-480 av. J.-C.
