Bannister Mall

Bannister Mall is a shopping mall located at 5600 Bannister Road in Kansas City, Missouri. Opened in 1980, it is one of the largest regional malls in Kansas City. Original anchors included Macy's, The Jones Store Co., J.C.Penney and Sears. The mall flourished for about 20 years but soon became nearly vacant by 2005. The current Bannister Mall website is being redesigned and will be finished January 2007
