Banks-Vernonia State Trail

The Banks-Vernonia State Trail is a rails-to-trails conversion running primarily north and south about 20 miles to the northwest of Portland, Oregon. It includes a path, about six feet across, on a raised berm. About 14 miles of the trail are asphalt, including the portions leading from Vernonia and Banks. The trail runs 21 miles from the town Banks, Oregon to the town of Vernonia, Oregon. The trail is open to all non-motorized uses.
