Bangor FM is based in Bangor, County Down and is a short-term radio station in Northern Ireland.

The radio station transmits annually from the heart of Bangor and broadcasts coverage of the ‘Bangor Star’ young talent search as well as a mixture of music, news and information for a potential audience of over 80’000 adults in the North Down area.

Bangor FM broadcasts to Bangor in Northern Ireland but has many listeners tuning in from Greenisland, Whiteabbey, Carrickfergus, Holywood and globally via the web stream.

Bangor FM operates on a special short-term licence (RSL) issued by the UK communications regulator 'Ofcom'

Bangor is the sister-station of East Antrim radio station Castle FM based in Carrickfergus, County Antrim.
