Bangla software

- Limitation: This article only discusses the software developed in Bangladesh. It needs information on the software developed in the West Bengal.
Bangla is one of the most circulated language in the world. But the usage of Bangla in computer was very limited. Because the developers by that time only focused on creating or developing Bangla word processing system. The situation changed after 1995, when a number of young people began to develop software for Bangali people.

Bijoy: This interface is widely used in Bangladesh for Bangla word processing. Lekhani: Another popular Bangla interface software. ProshikaShabda: Proshika Computer System (PCS) developed and marketed this software. But it could not become much popular, comparing to Bijoy and Lekhani. Avro Keyboard: Avro Keyboard is a free software and it is Unicode 4.1 compatible.
