Bangkok Privilege
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bangkok Privilege is a loyalty card for tourists and expats in Bangkok. It aims to promote city tourism and make Bangkok more attractive for tourists, shoppers and business people, not focussing on budget travellers staying mostly around Khaosan Road and tourists or expats only interested in Thailand's red light districts. "Bangkok Privilege can help visitors to an enchanting city find their way around quickly and save money while they do it." paraphrases John Bowmer, former Chairman of Adecco. The card's claim is to prevent foreigners from being overcharged by helping them select reputable businesses and providing discounts. Bangkok Privilege says that it accepts no commission on its third party offers. The project was created by Marcel Emmenegger.
