Bangi

Bandar Baru Bangi is a rapidly growing modern township situated in the district of Hulu Langat, in Selangor, Malaysia. It is located exactly in between the cities of Kajang and Putrajaya (formerly Prang Besar) and about 22km away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur; as well as 25km away the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Bandar Baru Bangi is noted for housing education institutions, national institutions and agencies, corporate institutions, factories and industrial training centres. Due to its proximity to KLIA and Putrajaya it also houses a five-star hotel, Hotel Equatorial, and an 18-hole golf course. The township is also a hometown to some prominent local independent musicians such as Azmyl Yunor, Lucy In The Loo, Azra Elia Zamri and Shock System.
