[edit] Places
Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is a major convention and exhibition center in Bangkok. Among its regularly hosted events include the annual Bangkok International Motor Show. During major exhibitions, trams are provided for transportation between BITEC and On Nut Bangkok Skytrain station.
Several temples are in the district such as Wat Bang Na Nai (วัดบางนาใน), Wat Bang Na Nok (วัดบางนานอก), Wat Sri Eaem (วัดศรีเอี่ยม), and Wat Phong Phloy Witthayaram (วัดผ่องพลอยวิทยาราม).
Central City Bang Na is the Bang Na's only shopping center. Unlike other shopping centers belonging to Central, it has a theme park and water theme park for recreation on upper floors.

[edit] Transportation
There is a Bangkok Skytrain extension under construction through the area along Sukhumvit Road. Two new stations in Bang Na are planned: Udom Suk and Bang Na with the third station Bearing (also spelled Baring) under negotiation. It is expected to be finished in 2009. The new Bang Na station will be about 500m away from BITEC.
Sukhumvit Road and Bang Na-Trat Highway are two major highways linking Bangkok to Eastern Thailand. On top of Bang Na-Trad Highway is the 55km toll Buraphawithi Expressway reaching Chon Buri Province. The new Suvarnabhumi Airport can be accessed from the south via Bang Na-Trad and Buraphawithi as an alternative to Bangkok-Chon Buri Highway (or Motor Way) from the north.
